What campers learn
-
Improvisation develops creativity, mental flexibility, and thinking skills in numerous ways. Improvising on your strings instrument improves timing, intonation, and can build a better understanding of chord progressions.
-
Learning to play by ear can help create new ideas and improve playing technique without a reliance on sheet music.
-
Stage presence is the energy the performer carries while on stage. Learn how the rock stars capture and hold an audience’s attention from expert performers from the area.
-
Because we focus on small group ensembles, like rock bands, combos and groups, campers get the chance to breakout of the section and find your own groove. They’ll gain higher levels of independence, play like a soloist in a group, and make friends along the way!
